SAM Ermolenko has thanked Scott Nicholls for his contribution to the Birmingham Brummies during the opening weeks of the season.
The British legend stepped in at short notice following injury to winter signing Piotr Pawlicki – who has now been redeclared in the Curtis Sport Brummies’ 1-7 ahead of Thursday’s (April 4, 7.30) trip to King’s Lynn, subject to approval.
Nicholls top scored in three of his four meetings, totalling 44+4 points, including 15+1 in Monday’s 48-42 home defeat at the hands of Oxford.
“We have to say a big thanks to Scotty for helping us out, he’s been in great form,” team manager Ermolenko said.
“But now we’ve got Piotr in the team, I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“He might be the ingredient we need to spice things up a little bit – hopefully he’ll be able to get more out of his fellow Polishman Wiktor Lampart also.”
