Birmingham Brummies make call to fans at Freddie Lindgren set to make home debut!

Birmingham Brummies make call to fans at Freddie Lindgren set to make home debut!

Birmingham Brummies CEO Nigel Tolley is hoping to see a big turnout of speedway fans as racing returns to Perry Barr on Monday (June 24, 7.30pm).

It will be the first time in three weeks the Curtis Sport Brummies have been on home shale with Swedish superstar Freddie Lindgren making his home debut against King’s Lynn the main talking point.

Tolley says he saw a positive impact when last year’s World No.2 made his Birmingham bow away at Ipswich earlier this month and feels his addition can see his side have a strong second part of the season.

“We desperately need more people in through the gates and I’m just hoping now that with Freddie in the team, it will bring in more people,” he said.

“The main attraction is the standard of speedway you’re going to see at Perry Barr.

“There’s going to be some terrific racing for the rest of the season with Freddie in the team and we are now capable of going places as a team.”
