Oxford Speedway is thrilled to confirm the completion of the Chargers’ team for the 2025 season with the signings of Arran Butcher, Max Broadhurst, and Darryl Ritchings.
These three riders will join Ashton Vale, Senna Summers, Jody Scott, and Jacob Clouting, forming a strong and competitive team for the WSRA National Development League. This announcement concludes Oxford’s team-building in the NDL as they aim for success in the upcoming campaign.
Arran Butcher signs from Leicester following an impressive 2024 season, where he played a key role in helping the Lion Cubs secure NDL gold. Butcher also increased his average from 4.69 to 5.37, highlighting his consistent development.
Max Broadhurst, who celebrates his birthday today, makes his league debut with Oxford. After his first taste of NDL action with the Chargers in June, the club is excited to provide him with this opportunity to make his mark in the sport.
Darryl Ritchings brings a wealth of experience, having last competed with Birmingham in 2017. With a strong pedigree that includes top-flight racing for the Swindon Robins, Ritchings is a valuable addition to the team.
