LEICESTER are delighted to announce long-term main team sponsors Watling JCB are back on board for the 2024 season.
The locally based JCB franchise have provided unstinting support of the Lions since their first involvement in 2015, and two years later they took over the role as title sponsors.
Watling JCB is one of the largest JCB sole franchises in the world, with their Head Office in Whetstone, and they specialise in selling new and used JCB machinery into the construction and industry sectors, and then providing product support for those machines.
Special Projects Director Andy Raine is a familiar face at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park, and is always on hand to provide his support and assistance to the club.
He said: “First of all I want to place on record my thanks to the Bates family, because I enjoyed working with them, and without them Leicester may well have folded.
“They’ve left the club on solid foundations, and I’m now really looking forward to working with (new owner) Paul Cairns to hopefully move things further forward again.
“We started small in 2015 and then went as main team sponsors two years later, and it’s great to be a Leicestershire company putting something into professional local sport in Leicester.
“I’ll certainly keep behind it and keep pushing it, and we’re really pleased to be able to continue the relationship.”
We all welcome Watling JCB back to the club and look forward to working together again over the coming year.
