TREBLE winners Poole will launch the defence of the Cab Direct Championship title when they face Scunthorpe at Wimborne Road on Wednesday May 7.
The Pirates completed a clean sweep of all three major team trophies in 2024, and they will stage the first meeting of league competition this year as they welcome the Scorpions.
The two sides have plenty of recent history as Poole defeated Scunthorpe to win the BSN Series Final last year – whilst in 2023, it was the Scorpions who triumphed in the KO Cup Final with a terrific performance in Dorset.
Scunthorpe are also involved in the opening team fixture of the season at Championship level as they visit Oxford in the first leg of their MAXiCab KO Cup quarter-final on Wednesday April 9.
The majority of clubs will kick off their official home programmes on Easter weekend, with several BSN Series group matches scheduled as well as the first-round MAXiCab KO Cup tie between Edinburgh and Workington.
April 16 sees the first clash between Oxford and Poole since their two Finals last year, with the return in the BSN Series at Wimborne Road on Good Friday.
Scottish rivals Edinburgh and Glasgow meet in the BSN Series at Armadale on April 25 with the reverse fixture at Ashfield a fortnight later.
Dates for two Major Events had already been confirmed, with the Championship Pairs kicking off the schedule at Workington on Saturday April 5 – whilst 24 hours later (April 6) Scunthorpe stage the Championship League Riders’ Championship.
