The line-up for the 2026 FIM Speedway World Cup Semi-Finals in Landshut, Germany on May 1 and Latvian capital Riga on August 7 has been revealed.
In a change of format for next year, the sport’s original team competition, which is staged every three years, will take place across three countries, climaxing with the eagerly-anticipated PZM FIM SWC Final at Warsaw’s iconic PGE Narodowy on August 29.
The Polish team, who lifted the famous Ove Fundin Trophy in a dramatic Final at Wroclaw’s Olympic Stadium in 2023, is seeded straight through to the Final as host nation along with Australia, who booked their spot by topping the 2025 FIM Speedway of Nations podium in Torun, Poland on October 4.
The remaining two spots in what will be the world’s biggest track racing event of 2026, contested in front of around 50,000 fans, will be claimed by the winners of Semi-Finals 1 and 2.

WWK FIM SWC Semi-Final 1 in Landshut kicks off the 2026 FIM Speedway season on Friday, May 1 and sees host nation Germany face off with 2021 and 2024 FIM SON world champions Great Britain, as well as Czech Republic and tournament debutants Ukraine.
The event takes place 24 hours before the WWK FIM Speedway GP of Germany – Landshut is staged at the OneSolar Arena on Saturday, May 2 – the opening round of the 2026 FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship.
