Polish star Maciej Janowski makes his FIM Speedway Grand Prix comeback at the ISS FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Gorzow this Saturday after Latvian racer Andzejs Lebedevs withdrew due to injury.
Second substitute Janowski steps up after Lebedevs suffering injuries in a PGE Ekstraliga meeting for Leszno in Gorzow on June 16.
With Aussie ace Jason Doyle also absent following surgery on a torn rotator cuff and first reserve Max Fricke set to cover for him, Janowski gets his chance to return to the Speedway GP stage in front of a partisan Polish crowd.
The Wroclaw, Piraterna and Oxford racer finished second at the opening Speedway European Championship round in Debrecen, Hungary on June 8 as he bids to claim the continental crown and the automatic 2025 Speedway GP spot on offer to the SEC winner.
But he will also be keen to impress at Edward Jancarz Stadium, where he won his first Polish Championship in 2015.
