Dan Bewley wins 2026 Peter Craven Memorial Trophy - Results

Belle Vue star Dan Bewley claimed his second Peter Craven Memorial Trophy with a superb performance in a dramatic finale at the National Speedway Stadium.

The home favourite made his decisive move in the six-rider Final, sweeping past former World Champion Chris Holder midway through the race to deny the Sheffield rider a perfect night after he had dominated the earlier stages of the meeting.

Brady Kurtz, who had picked up two race wins during the qualifying heats, secured third place on the podium, while Jason Doyle, Max Fricke and Adam Ellis were also involved in the Final but missed out on the top three.

Despite steady rain falling throughout the afternoon, the meeting went ahead and once the track began to dry the racing delivered plenty of entertainment for the Manchester crowd. Bewley had earlier produced two strong rides from the back of the field in his final qualifying outings to book his place in the deciding race.
